This book is unabashedly about love. Romantic love, love of family, of nature, and life. It goes through several aspects of romantic love, the thrill of new love, the fear of losing the one you love, rejection by the one you love, disdain for a lover who proves untrue,and the contentment found in a long loving relationship.
The author is honest in her vulnerability and indecision about where to go with her life in some poems and shows great resolve and confidence in others. This is a brave and baring journey of a young woman who grows in experience and continues to learn about herself.
I could not wait to read Bathsheba's book of poetry. I had the honor and privledge to have read her poetry before. When I heard she had a book out, I could not wait to read it and was so happy for her!
Bathsheba is a young up and coming poet that will be well known in the future of poetry.
All of her poems are written from her heart and soul. At times I found my self laughing and crying, but mostly sadness. I could feel her emotions. This book is filled with a cornucopia of emotions!
This is my new treasure that is always by my nightstand! Even if you are not a lover of poetry, you will adore this book.

I absolutely love this book by Bathsheba Dailey. From the first poem to the last, you can tell that everything she writes comes directly from her heart. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it ended. I am looking forward to future writes from Bathsheba. I could no more pick a favorite out of this book than I could pick a favorite color. They are all wonderful and thought provoking.

I read this book because a friend asked me to. To tell the truth, I was very inspired by the writers words. Not only were the poems well written, but, she wore with passion. I would recommend this book of poetry to any and all poetry lovers.
This is my first book from Bathsheba and right from the start she had transported me into her world of poetry! "The deepest of emotions, both good and bad, bring out the greatest of poems." That sad I am convinced she had gone through and seem the deepest of emotions and has successfully put them to words for all to enjoy! I am a huge fan of hers to say the least.
This beautiful poetic collection by Bathsheba Dailey left me breathless. Her words are a confessional expressed in a way that not only gives you a glimpse into her world, but each relatable to the reader. The fluidity of her writing is such that you will not be able to pick it up to read just one, like a daydream it will carry you away to a place that reminds you how intense & how incredible life can be. It will leave you pondering, yet fulfilled and with a sense of reassuring certainty. A definite go to creation to connect to. Looking forward to her next collection!
