This was a confusing read. The characters didn't make sense and I wanted to like it. I see potential, but the characters are all over the place the male main character goes from having a blast from the past show up with his four kids but it's not a blast from the past but a maybe sidechick. He cares about his wife but she goes from planning a revenge to pulling a gun being knocked out and then running from an intervention by jumping out a window. I wanted to like this book but was unable to.Product details

BLACKOUT edition by Jessie Blade Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Where is pt. 2, I need that like ASAP. Shriley is smart an Tasha is plain oh DUM!!! Keith don't really know who he married.
Keith has the perfect life as a star NFL player quarterback! Life was going good with his dream wife Shirley! It was all good till a blast from the past shocked their happy home! Things got real and the blackouts started! What will Keith do when his life is turned upside down?
This book started out great and moved toward mediocre. I'm sure in part 2, Shirley is going to become someone she wasn't in part 1. But part 1 didn't do it well enough for me to buy part 2.
This book would've gotten more stars had there not been so many errors. The quotations were thrown all over the place and the dialogue between the characters were not separated by paragraphs. Other than that, the book was pretty decent but I couldn't bring myself to give it more than 2 stars. I won't be buying the sequel due to all of the errors I might encounter.
I am not sure what others read but it couldnt have possibly been what I just finished. It started off good. Prologue was very suspenseful and made me want to keep reading. That was about it. From by there it got very hard to read and follow, and I had no clue what was going on. Don't get me wrong, the plot is good, the execution is just poor. Hopefully part 2 is better.
Loved it! Jessie Blade is a fantastic writer.. She has a way with words that makes you want to keep reading. I couldn't put my iPad down! I hope there is a follow up soon.. I need to know what happens with Shirley, Keith and Tasha.
This was just an ok read. Nothing really stood out. The thing that messed it up for me was that there was little to no editing. Too many run on sentences and the structure wasn't good. The story itself was interesting and it has potential to be a 5 star read....it just didn't make the cut.
